Modalsätze — dla osób mówiących po Polish
Wprowadzenie
Modalsätze opisują SPOSÓB wykonania czynności: indem (poprzez to, że), ohne...zu (bez), anstatt...zu (zamiast). Po polsku: «poprzez», «bez + gerundium», «zamiast + bezokolicznik». Indem wprowadza pełne zdanie podrzędne, ohne/anstatt + zu używają bezokolicznika.

Kluczowa różnica
Po polsku: «nie wahając się» (imiesłów) lub «bez wahania». Po niemiecku: ohne + zu + Infinitiv.

W Polish
Pomogła, słuchając / poprzez to, że słuchała
Kluczowa różnica
Indem = «poprzez to, że» — pełne zdanie podrzędne z V na końcu.
Częste błędy osób mówiących po Polish
Ohne + dass z tym samym podmiotem: «Ohne dass ich zögere» zamiast «Ohne zu zögern»
Jak damit/um...zu: ten sam podmiot → zu-Infinitiv. Różne podmioty → dass-Satz.
Indem + zu: «Indem zu helfen» zamiast «Indem sie half»
Indem nie łączy się z zu-Infinitiv. Wymaga pełnego zdania z podmiotem i czasownikiem.

Najlepiej uczymy się, ćwicząc.

Wskazówka do zapamiętania
Ohne zu = bez (+ Infinitiv). Anstatt zu = zamiast (+ Infinitiv). Indem = poprzez to, że (pełne zdanie).
