مقدمة
deshalb (لذلك) وtrotzdem (رغم ذلك/مع ذلك) هما رابطان ظرفيان يربطان جملتين رئيسيتين. على عكس weil وdass، لا يُرسلان الفعل للنهاية — بل يسببان انقلاباً: الفعل يأتي مباشرة بعدهما. في العربية "لذلك" و"رغم ذلك" لا يغيّران ترتيب الجملة.

الفرق الرئيسي
deshalb يسبب انقلاب الفاعل والفعل: deshalb bleibe ich (وليس deshalb ich bleibe).
في الألمانية
Er ist müde, trotzdem geht er zur Arbeit. (هو متعب، رغم ذلك يذهب للعمل)
في Arabic
في العربية: رغم ذلك يذهب للعمل
الفرق الرئيسي
trotzdem أيضاً يسبب انقلاباً: trotzdem geht er. في العربية الترتيب لا يتأثر.
أخطاء شائعة لمتحدثي Arabic
وضع الفاعل قبل الفعل بعد deshalb: "deshalb ich bleibe zu Hause"
deshalb يحتل المركز الأول، فالفعل يأتي في المركز الثاني والفاعل في الثالث.
الخلط بين weil وdeshalb: "Ich bleibe zu Hause, deshalb ich krank bin"
weil تشرح السبب وترسل الفعل للنهاية. deshalb تشرح النتيجة وتسبب انقلاباً.
