nachdenken über + Akkusativ
to think about, to reflect on
The verb nachdenken über (to think about, to reflect on) always goes with the preposition über, and here über takes the Akkusativ (accusative). The preposition über can take the Akkusativ or the Dativ — with nachdenken it is the Akkusativ, so learn the case together with the verb. The article follows the case: der Vorschlag → über den Vorschlag. To refer back to it, use darüber. The question word is Worüber: “Worüber hast du nachgedacht?”
